Thai Kiwifruit Galette
A unique dessert that combines the sweetness of kiwifruit with the crunch of a galette crust, all in a traditional Thai flavor profile.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup Dense Slovakian Butter
- β1/4 cup Very Cold Water
- β2 cups All-purpose FlourSieved
- β2 KiwifruitSliced
- β1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- β1/2 cup Coconut Milk
- β2 tablespoons Lime Juice
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- βpinch Salt

In a large mixing bowl, combine dense Slovakian butter and very cold water. Mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour, kiwifruit, brown sugar, coconut milk, lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt.

Place the kiwifruit mixture onto one half of the dough.

Fold the other half of the dough over the kiwifruit mixture and press the edges to seal.

Use a knife to create a decorative edge around the galette.

Place the galette on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
