German Mushroom Wrap
A hearty German-inspired wrap filled with sautéed mushrooms and crunchy polish sausage. Perfect for a quick dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
- ●8 oz Polish Sausage
- ●1 cup Mushroomsbutton or cremini work well
- ●1 Warm Wrap
- ●1/2 cup Crunchy Coleslawstore-bought or homemade
- ●1/4 cup Onionthinly sliced
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●2 tbsp Butter
- ● Saltto taste
- ● Pepperto taste

1. Slice the polish sausage into 1-inch pieces and cook in a pan over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes.

2. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.

3. Add the butter to the pan and melt over medium heat.

4. Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

5. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

6. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

7. Add the cooked sausage back into the pan and stir to combine with the mushrooms and onions.

8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

9. Warm the wrap in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

10. Assemble the wrap by spooning the sausage and mushroom mixture onto the center of the wrap, followed by a dollop of coleslaw.

11. Fold the bottom half of the wrap up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrap up tightly.
