Spicy Ethiopian Tibs
A traditional Ethiopian stir-fry dish made with marinated meat and spices. Serve with injera or rice for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- β500g Gored
- β2 Goredfor serving
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 medium Tomato
- β2 tsp Bekam spice blend
- β2 tbsp Niter kibbeh
- β1 tsp Red pepper flakes
- β1 tsp Salt

1. Cut the gored into small pieces and marinate in Bekam spice blend, niter kibbeh, red pepper flakes, and salt for at least 30 minutes.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add the marinated gored and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the onion, garlic, and tomato to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened.

5. Stir in the remaining Bekam spice blend and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

6. Serve the tibs hot with injera or rice and garnish with additional gored if desired.
