Egyptian Lamb Kebabs with Warm Spices
A flavorful and aromatic lamb kebab recipe inspired by Egyptian cuisine, served with a blend of warm spices.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb shoulder or leg, cut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tbsp Olive oilfor brushing kebabs
- β2 tsp Warm spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, coriander)
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyfor garnish
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh cilantrofor garnish
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β2 cloves Garlic, minced
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper
- β4-6 pieces Pita bread or flatbreadfor serving

1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, warm spice blend, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the lamb cubes to the bowl and toss to coat with the spice mixture.

3. Thread the lamb cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

4. Brush the skewers with the remaining spice mixture.

5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

6. Grill the kebabs for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

7. Transfer the kebabs to a plate and garnish with chopped parsley and cilantro.
