Wilted Broccoli Pasta
A simple and delicious Italian-inspired pasta dish featuring wilted broccoli and calamarata pasta.
Ingredients
- β250g calamarata pasta
- β250g broccoli floretswarmly wilted
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β30ml olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β50g grated Parmesan

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the calamarata pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until warmly wilted.

Season the broccoli with salt and black pepper to taste.

Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the calamarata.

Add the cooked calamarata pasta to the skillet with the wilted broccoli.

Toss the pasta in the broccoli mixture, adding some reserved pasta water if the mixture seems dry.
