Moroccan Saffron Rice with Moroccan Sausage
A flavorful and aromatic Moroccan dish made with saffron-infused rice, Moroccan sausage, and spices.
Ingredients
- β1/2 teaspoon SaffronSoak in 2 tablespoons hot water before using
- β1 pound, sliced Moroccan Sausage
- β1 cup Silky rice
- β2 tablespoons TraPeanut or vegetable oil
- β1 teaspoon Moroccan spice blend
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Heat 1 tablespoon of Tra in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced Moroccan Sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the soaked saffron and its liquid to the saucepan and stir to combine.

Add the Silky rice to the saucepan and stir to coat the rice with the spice mixture.

Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.

Fluff the rice with a fork and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
