Ethiopian Prawn Ceviche
A refreshing and spicy ceviche dish combining the flavors of Ethiopia with succulent prawns.

- β12 prawnspeeled and deveined
- β1 xenialEthiopian berbere spice
- β1/2 cup lemon juice
- β1 chilliEthiopian berbere chilli
- β2 cloves garlic
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Instructions

Rinse the prawns under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Mix the xenial, lemon juice, chilli, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Add the prawns to the bowl and mix well to coat.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Just before serving, garnish with chopped cilantro (if desired).
