Uruguayan Pasta Bake
A hearty and comforting Uruguayan-inspired pasta bake, perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- β8 oz rigatonidried
- β1 cup pastagrated (Parmesan)
- β2 tbsp xtra virgin olive oil
- β1 cup fluffy flourall-purpose
- β1 cup uruguayan cheesegrated (Chivito)
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly add grated cheese, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.

Stir in cooked rigatoni, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with additional grated cheese.
