Tunisian Smoked Mackerel Tagine
A fusion of moroccan and mexican flavors, this tagine is a hearty and flavorful dish made with smoked mackerel and infused with the warmth of tunisian spices.
Ingredients

- β2 tablespoons infused olive oil
- β1 large onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 teaspoons tunisian spicesor to taste
- β1 teaspoon yeastactive dry
- β1 cup chicken broth
- β1 teaspoon smoky paprika

- βchopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Heat the infused olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the tunisian spices, yeast, and smoky paprika. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.

Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and add the smoked mackerel. Simmer, covered, for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
