Yellow Lentil Grill
A hearty vegan dish made with yellow lentils and a smoky grill flavor.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Yellow Lentils
- ●2 tbsp Canadian Olive Oil
- ●1 tsp Lentil Seasoning
- ●1 tsp Grill Seasoning
- ●1 medium Onion
- ●2 cloves Garlic
- ●to taste Salt
- ●2 cups Water
Instructions

Rinse the lentils and soak them in water for 30 minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the lentil seasoning and grill seasoning to the pan and stir for 1 minute.

Add the soaked lentils, salt, and 2 cups of water to the pan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the lentils are tender.

Meanwhile, preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Once the lentils are cooked, add them to a grill-safe container and grill for 5-7 minutes or until lightly charred.

Serve the grilled lentils hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
