Kenyan Cabbage Gratin
A crispy topped, creamy cabbage gratin, inspired by Kenyan flavors.
Ingredients
- ●1 head (about 2 pounds) cabbage
- ●1 cup gratin (bechamel) sauce
- ●1 cup, shredded yummy cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
- ●1/2 cup crispy topping (e.g., breadcrumbs, crispy onions)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Chop the cabbage into thin slices and sauté in a pan until tender.

In a separate saucepan, heat the gratin sauce over low heat.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of cabbage slices.

Pour some of the heated gratin sauce over the cabbage.

Sprinkle some shredded cheese over the sauce.

Repeat steps 4-6 until all ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
