Crunchy Walnut Cookies
A classic cookie recipe with the added crunch of walnuts. Perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, chopped walnuts
- β1 cup, crushed cookies
- β1/2 teaspoon, ground cinnamon eastern
- β1/4 teaspoon, ground cardamom middle
- β1/4 teaspoon, lemon zest zesty
- β1/2 cup, unsalted butter, softened crispy
- β1 cup, granulated sugar sugar
- β1 large, beaten eggs
- β2 cups, all-purpose flour flour

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and lemon zest in a medium bowl.

In a separate bowl, cream together butter and eggs until light and fluffy.

Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Stir in the chopped walnuts and crushed cookies.

Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.
