Turkish Manti with Ground Turkey and Ginger
A traditional Turkish dish of steamed dumplings filled with ground turkey and ginger, served with a zesty yogurt sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Turkey
- β2 inches Gingergrated
- β2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Yogurt
- β1/2 cup Zesty Yogurt Sauce
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β1 cup Water
- β1 package Manti doughavailable at Middle Eastern markets

Combine ground turkey and ginger in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix flour and water to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes.

Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

Use a cookie cutter to cut out circles of dough.

Place a tablespoon of the ground turkey mixture in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and press edges to seal.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook manti for 15 minutes.

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add zesty yogurt sauce and stir to combine.

Serve manti with the sauce on top.
