Argentinian Beef Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Argentina, made with tender beef and a hint of zesty spices.
Ingredients
- ●2 lbs beefcut into 1-inch cubes
- ●1 cup stewyour favorite store-bought or homemade stew mix
- ●1 tsp zestydried oregano or thyme
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●1 medium red bell peppersliced
- ●2 tbsp tomato pasteor 1 can of diced tomatoes
- ●2 cups beef brothlow-sodium
- ●1/4 cup red wineoptional

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the beef cubes in batches, about 5 minutes per batch.

Remove the browned beef from the pot and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the stew mix, tomato paste, and beef broth to the pot.

Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

Return the browned beef to the pot and add the red wine (if using).

Cover the pot and transfer to the oven.

Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender.
