Korean Leaf Wrap
A low-carb Korean-inspired dish wrapped in a perilla leaf wrap. This keto recipe combines the flavors of zesty Korean chili flakes with the crunch of fresh leafy greens.
Ingredients
- β4-6 wraps Perilla Leaf Wrapsavailable at most Asian markets or online
- β2 tsp Zesty Korean Chili Flakes (gochugaru)adjust to taste
- β1 medium Cucumbersliced
- β1 medium Carrotpeeled and grated
- β4 cups Green Leafy Greens (such as lettuce or spinach)chopped
- β1 medium Avocadosliced
- β2 tbsp Korean-Style BBQ Sauce (make sure it's sugar-free)optional

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Brush the perilla leaf wraps with a small amount of oil and cook for 30-45 seconds on each side, until slightly charred.

In a large bowl, combine the cucumber, carrot, and green leafy greens.

Add the sliced avocado and Korean-style BBQ sauce (if using) to the bowl and toss to combine.

To assemble the wraps, place a few slices of the cucumber-carrot mixture onto each cooked perilla leaf wrap.
