- ●1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- ●1/2 cup Lime juice
- ●2 tablespoons Zesty
- ●1/2 teaspoon Cumin
- ●1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- ●1/4 teaspoon Salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- ●1/2 cup Red onionthinly sliced
- ●1/4 cup Cilantrochopped
Instructions
- 1
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2
In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, zesty, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.
- 4
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the shrimp to 'cook' in the lime juice.
- 5
Just before serving, stir in the sliced red onion and chopped cilantro.
- 6
Serve the ceviche chilled, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
- 7
Note: If you prefer a cooked ceviche, you can sauté the shrimp in a little oil until pink and then let it cool before serving.
- 8
Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
- 9
Garnish with additional cilantro, if desired.
- 10
Serve chilled.
