Thai Corn Fritters
Crispy and sweet Thai corn fritters made with a hint of zesty flavor. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Cornfresh or frozen
- β1 tsp Venezuelan Yeastactive dry yeast
- β1 cup Zesty Breadingcornmeal, flour, and spices
- β2 cups Vegetable Oilfor frying
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Sugar

1. In a large bowl, combine corn, yeast, and 1 cup of warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes, or until foamy.

2. Add zesty breading and mix well.

3. Heat 2 cups of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

4. Using a spoon, drop small balls of the corn mixture into the hot oil.

5. Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

6. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

7. Sprinkle with salt and sugar to taste.
