Thai Star-Studded Almond Delight
A fusion of Thai flavors and crunchy almonds, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients

- β2 whole star anise
- β1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- β1 cup sugar
- β1/4 cup coconut oil
- β1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1 pint ice cream
- β1/2 cup toasted almond flakesoptional

1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

2. Break the star anise into smaller pieces and toast in the oven for 5 minutes.

3. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and toasted star anise. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Stir in coconut oil and salt until dissolved.
