- β2 cups All-purpose flourFor the empanada dough
- β8 oz Uruguayan cheeseGrated, for filling
- β1 medium Aromatic onionChopped, for filling
- β2 cloves Score of garlicMinced, for filling

- β1 cup Empanada filling (Uruguayan cheese & Aromatic onion mix)For filling empanadas

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Combine flour, salt, and water to make the empanada dough.

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces, and roll each one into a thin circle.

In a bowl, mix Uruguayan cheese, Aromatic onion, and Score of garlic.

Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto one half of each dough circle.

Fold the other half of dough over the filling, and press edges to seal.
