Crispy Crumbly Duck Leg
A classic Chinese-inspired dish featuring a crispy crumbly crust on the outside and tender duck leg on the inside.

- ●2 tablespoons BitterBitter melon or bitter gourd
- ●1 cup CrumblePanko breadcrumbs
- ●2 tablespoons LightVegetable oil
- ●2 teaspoons ChineseFive-spice powder

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the duck leg with five-spice powder and set aside.

In a shallow dish, mix together panko breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt.

Dip the duck leg into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the duck leg until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the duck leg to a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the duck leg is baking, heat the bitter melon in a small saucepan over medium heat until slightly softened.
