Charred Tlayudas with Creamy Salsa
A twist on traditional Mexican tlayudas, topped with a creamy salsa and crispy tortillas.
Ingredients
- β4-6 Tlayudas
- β1 cup Charred Corn
- β1/2 Onionchopped
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/2 cup Creamy Salsa (see below)
- β1/4 cup Cilantrochopped
- β1/4 cup Queso Fresco (or feta)crumbled
Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Grill the tlayudas for 2-3 minutes per side, until crispy.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add the charred corn and cook for 1-2 minutes, until heated through.

Stir in the creamy salsa and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Spoon the corn mixture onto the grilled tlayudas.

Top with chopped cilantro and crumbled queso fresco.
