Warak Enab Spring Rolls
A unique Chinese-inspired twist on traditional Middle Eastern spring rolls, filled with crispy warak enab.
Ingredients
- β1 bunch Warak Enabblanched and chopped
- β1 package Crispy Noodleschopped
- β1 cup Vegetable Oil
- β2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- β1 tsp Sesame Oil
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1-inch piece Gingergrated
- β1/4 cup Green Onionschopped
Instructions

Heat 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chopped warak enab, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry until slightly tender.

Add chopped crispy noodles and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute.

Lay a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the warak enab mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom half of the wrapper up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat about 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

When the oil is hot, add a few spring rolls to the oil (do not overcrowd the skillet).

Fry the spring rolls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Drain the spring rolls on paper towels and serve hot.
