Grilled Kenyan Skewers with Delicate Onions
A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring Kenyan beef or lamb skewers, paired with sweet and caramelized delicate onions.

- ●500g (1.1lb) Kenyan lamb or beefcut into 1-inch cubes
- ●2 Delicate onionsthinly sliced

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F or 200°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp your favorite Kenyan spice blend.

Add the Kenyan lamb or beef cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Thread the marinated meat and onions onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Let the skewers rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Meanwhile, grill the thinly sliced delicate onions for 2-3 minutes per side, until caramelized and slightly charred.
