Mediterranean-Style Fish Pilaf
A Japanese-inspired pilaf dish infused with Mediterranean flavors, featuring fish as the main protein.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Flavorful Mediterranean Pilaf MixAvailable at most Japanese markets
- β2 fillets (6 oz each) Wild Salmon FilletsFresh or frozen, thawed
- β2 tbsp Lemon JuiceFreshly squeezed or bottled
- β1 tsp Soy SauceLow-sodium or regular
- β1 tsp GingerGrated or finely chopped
- β1/4 cup Green OnionsThinly sliced

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the pilaf mix and cook, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted (3-4 minutes).

Add the salmon fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until cooked through.

Transfer the cooked salmon to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

In the same skillet, add the lemon juice, soy sauce, and ginger. Stir to combine.

Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon some of the pilaf mix over the top.
