Slovakian Sausage and Pickle Bake
A hearty Slovakian-inspired dish featuring sausages and pickles baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- β4 Slovakian sausagespork sausages
- β1 cup Picklessliced
- β1 Bakecoarse breadcrumbs
- β1/4 cup Naughtyonion, finely chopped
- β1/4 cup Nukaall-purpose flour
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine flour, onion, and breadcrumbs.

Cut sausages in half lengthwise and place in the bowl.

Roll each sausage in the breadcrumb mixture to coat.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Brown the sausages on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the sausages are baking, mix pickles and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

After the sausages have baked for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and top each sausage with a spoonful of pickle mixture.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the pickles are slightly caramelized.
