Zesty Chinese-Style Fried Chicken
A twist on traditional Chinese fried chicken, with a zesty kick from the spicy sauce. This dish is perfect for a quick dinner.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
- β1/4 cup spicy sauce
- β1 tablespoon zesty seasoning
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup, chopped brazilian pepper
- β1/4 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- β1 cup fry mix

In a shallow dish, mix together flour, zesty seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and dip each piece in the flour mixture, coating completely.

Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
