Smoked Chicken Tagine with Zesty Sauce
A classic French-inspired dish with the flavors of Morocco, featuring tender smoked chicken in a tangy zesty sauce.
Ingredients

- ●1/2 cup, crumbled Morbier cheese
- ●2 tablespoons Tagine paste
- ●1 cup Zesty sauce (see notes)
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●1/4 cup, chopped Parsley
- ●2 cloves Garlic

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the smoked chicken breast with salt and pepper.

In a large Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.

Add the tagine paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the zesty sauce and bring to a simmer.

Add the smoked chicken breast and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.

Transfer the Dutch oven to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Remove the Dutch oven from the oven and sprinkle with crumbled Morbier cheese.

Return the Dutch oven to the stovetop and cook over medium heat until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
