Smoky French Chicken Stir Fry
A fusion of French and Chinese flavors, this stir fry is a unique twist on traditional Chinese dishes. The smokiness from the bacon adds a rich depth to the dish.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breast
- β1 bunch scallions
- β1 cup gratin dauphinoisshredded
- β6 slices cozy baconcrumbled
- β4 casabe tortillascut into strips
- β2 tbsp smoky soy sauce
- β3 cloves french garlicminced
- β1 tsp french thyme
Instructions

1. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy, then set aside.

2. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until browned, then set aside.

3. Add the scallions, garlic, and thyme to the pan and cook until the scallions are softened.

4. Add the grated dauphinois to the pan and stir to combine with the scallion mixture.

5. Add the cooked chicken back into the pan and stir to combine with the dauphinois mixture.

6. Add the cooked bacon back into the pan and stir to combine with the chicken and dauphinois mixture.

7. Serve the stir fry hot, garnished with additional scallions if desired.

8. Cook the casabe tortillas in a pan until crispy, then serve on the side.

9. Drizzle the smoky soy sauce over the top of the stir fry before serving.
