Tamarind Stir Fry
A Japanese-inspired stir fry dish featuring the unique flavor of tamarind. This recipe serves as a delicious and easy meal option.
Ingredients
- β2 tbsp Tamarind paste
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- β1 medium Onionsliced
- β1 medium Bell peppersliced
- β2 medium Carrotssliced
- β1 cup Mushroomssliced
- β1 tsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and cook until it begins to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced bell pepper and carrots, and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the tamarind paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
