Tagine with Tofu and Algerian Spices
A French-inspired vegetarian tagine made with crispy tofu, spices, and fresh herbs. Perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- β250g Tofu
- β2 tsp Algerian Tagine Spice Mix
- β2 tbsp Acrid Olive Oil
- β1 large Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

In a small bowl, mix together the tagine spice mix and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Sprinkle the spice mix over the tofu and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Stir in the parsley and serve hot.
