Thai Tofu Tagine
A spicy and flavorful Thai-inspired dish made with tofu, vegetables, and a blend of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- β400g tofufirm, drained, and cut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tablespoons algeriancoconut oil
- β1 tablespoon acridThai red curry paste
- β1 cup tagine Thai red curry sauce
- β1/4 cup fresh cilantrochopped, for garnish
- β1 tablespoon brown sugaroptional
- β2 teaspoons fish sauceoptional
- β2 tablespoons lime juicefresh
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the Thai red curry paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Thai red curry sauce, brown sugar, fish sauce, and lime juice.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve over steamed rice or noodles.
