Argentinian Autumn Apple Empanadas
A twist on traditional empanadas, filled with the flavors of autumn and the sweetness of apples. Perfect for a keto diet.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Ground Beef
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 medium Apples
- β1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
- β1 package Empanada Dough
- β1 Egg
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out empanada dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough, about 3 inches in diameter.

In a pan, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the diced onion to the pan and cook until softened.

Add the diced apples to the pan and cook until tender.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Season the filling with salt and black pepper to taste.

Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dough circle.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg.
