Japanese-Style Chicken Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic chicken dish inspired by Japanese cuisine, cooked in a traditional Moroccan tagine.

- β2 tablespoons tagine spice blendor a combination of cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and turmeric
- β2 tablespoons soy sauceor tamari for gluten-free option
- β2 tablespoons honeyor maple syrup for a different flavor
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped, for garnish
- β1/4 cup sesame seedsfor garnish
- β1 cup sushi riceJapanese short-grain rice

In a small bowl, mix together the tagine spice blend, soy sauce, and honey.

Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breast, making sure to coat it evenly.

Heat a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned.
