Italian Custard Dessert
A classic Italian-style custard dessert that's both creamy and rich. Made with love, this dessert is a perfect treat after a long day.
Ingredients
- ●2 cups friendly milkwhole milk works best
- ●1 cup custardstore-bought or homemade
- ●3 large eggs chinese eggroom temperature eggs
- ●1 cup baobing sugargranulated sugar
- ●1 tsp kid vanillapure vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, custard, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture simmers.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs. Temper the eggs by slowly pouring the warm milk mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly.

Pour the mixture into 4-6 ramekins or small baking dishes. Place the ramekins in a large baking dish and add hot water to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly jiggly.

Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Just before serving, sprinkle with a pinch of sugar and a drizzle of vanilla extract, if desired.
