Croatian Spring Pasta Bake
A light and flavorful Italian-inspired pasta bake with Croatian spring flavors.
Ingredients
- β8 oz spring pastapreferably gluten-free
- β2 tbsp zesty croatian olive oilfor cooking pasta and adding flavor
- β3 cloves spring garlicminced
- β1 cup spring onionschopped
- β1 tsp croatian spring herbsdried or 2 tbsp fresh herbs
- β1 cup grated romano cheesefor serving
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook spring pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp zesty croatian olive oil over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add chopped spring onions and cook for 3-4 minutes, until softened.

Stir in croatian spring herbs.

Combine cooked pasta, garlic-onion mixture, and 1 cup grated romano cheese in a large bowl.

Mix well to combine.

Transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish and drizzle with remaining 1 tbsp zesty croatian olive oil.

Top with additional grated romano cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
