Tandoori Pork Ribs
A twist on traditional Indian tandoori chicken, this recipe uses pork ribs for a unique and flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- β4 pounds pork ribsbaby back ribs
- β1 cup yogurtplain, unflavored
- β2 tablespoons garam masalaground
- β1 tablespoon cuminground
- β1 tablespoon corianderground
- β1 teaspoon cayenne pepperoptional
- β1 teaspoon saltoptional
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperoptional
- β2 tablespoons lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oilfor brushing ribs

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, garam masala, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper (if using), salt (if using), and black pepper (if using).

Add the pork ribs to the marinade and mix until the ribs are well coated.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the ribs on the baking sheet in a single layer.

Brush the ribs with ghee or vegetable oil and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until they are nicely browned.

While the ribs are roasting, prepare the tandoori spice blend by mixing together garam masala, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper (if using).

After the ribs have roasted for 20-25 minutes, brush them with the tandoori spice blend and return to the oven.

Continue roasting for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the ribs are nicely coated with the spice blend and are cooked through.

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
