Japanese-Style Crispy Pork Ribs
A fusion of Japanese flavors with crispy pork ribs, perfect for a dinner party. This dish is a delightful twist on traditional BBQ ribs.

- β1/4 cup Sake
- β2 tablespoons Brown Sugar

- β1 teaspoon Crushed Black Pepper
- β1 cup Crispy Japanese-Style BreadcrumbsAvailable at most Asian grocery stores

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sake, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and black pepper.

Add the pork ribs to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Remove the ribs from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

Bake the ribs for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, increase the oven temperature to broil. Brush the ribs with a little bit of oil and broil for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until crispy.

While the ribs are broiling, mix the crispy Japanese-style breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt in a small bowl.

Remove the ribs from the oven and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the ribs.
