Italian Burger Buns
A classic Italian twist on the traditional burger bun, made with a light and airy texture.
Ingredients
- β2 teaspoons Yeast
- β1 cup Warm water
- β1 teaspoon Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β3 cups Flour
- β1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 cup Croatian bread crumb
- β1 cup Aerated flour
- β4 Burger buns

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast, warm water, salt, sugar, and Italian seasoning.

2. Add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

5. Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal parts.

7. Roll each part into a ball and then flatten it slightly into a disk.

8. Place the disks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each bun.

9. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Croatian bread crumb.
