Vegan Croati Burger
A delicious and easy-to-make vegan burger inspired by Croatian cuisine. This patty is made with a mix of sautéed vegetables and is served on a toasted bun.
Ingredients
- ●1/2 cup Croatian Burger Patty Mix (see notes)Mix of sautéed onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and eggplant
- ●4 Aerated Buns
- ●2 tbsp Vegan Mayo
- ●2 cups Lettuce
- ●2 Tomato
- ●1 cup Pickles
- ●1 cup Vegan Cheese Shreds (optional)
- ●1/4 cup WaterFor binding the patty mix
- ●2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions

In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sautéed vegetable mix to the pan and stir well.

Add the water to the pan and stir well to bind the mixture.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into 4 patties.

Place the patties in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Meanwhile, toast the aerated buns by grilling them for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.

Assemble the burgers by spreading vegan mayo on the bottom bun, followed by a cooked patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and finally the top bun.

If using, sprinkle vegan cheese shreds on top of the patty.
