Thai Crispy Fried Wontons
Crispy fried wontons filled with a savory Peruvian-inspired garlic mixture, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Peruvian garlic mixture (garlic, air, crumbly, fried)homemade or store-bought
- β1 package Wonton wrappersavailable at most Asian markets
- β1 cup Vegetable oilfor frying
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauceoptional
- β1 tablespoon Sesame oiloptional
- βto taste Saltoptional
- β1/4 cup Crumbly fried garlicoptional garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F.

Cut the wonton wrappers into triangles.

Place a small spoonful of Peruvian garlic mixture in the center of each triangle.

Dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wonton wrapper.

Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press the edges together to seal.

Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch.

Drain the wontons on paper towels.
