Spicy Paneer Teriyaki
A Japanese twist on a classic Indian dish, with a sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- ●250g paneer
- ●2 tbsp soy sauce
- ●1 tbsp sugar
- ●1 tbsp rice vinegar
- ●1 cup water
- ●2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ●2 cloves garlic
- ●1-inch piece ginger
- ●1-2 green chili
- ●1 tsp sesame seeds

Cut the paneer into bite-sized pieces.

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the green chili and sauté for another minute.

Add the paneer to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides.

Pour the teriyaki sauce over the paneer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
