Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Sweet Treat Glaze
A classic French dish featuring pan-seared sea bass topped with a sweet and sticky glaze made from a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- β4 fillets (6 oz each) sea bassFresh and sustainable
- β2 tbsp sweet treat (honey)High-quality and pure
- β2 tbsp lemon juiceFreshly squeezed
- β4 tsp unsalted butterSoftened to room temperature
- β1/4 cup fresh parsleyChopped and fresh
- β2 cloves garlicMinced and fresh

1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp of unsalted butter.

4. Sear the sea bass fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

6. While the sea bass is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together honey, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

7. Remove the skillet from the oven and brush the glaze over the top of each sea bass fillet.

8. Return the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the glaze is caramelized.
